The powerful words of God expressed through the pen of the Psalmist millennia ago, are still potent and true in our troubled present day. For millennia, these words have made the unbelieving heart tremble at the sovereign power of God, whilst to the believer in Christ, they are the source of the comfort that even in the greatest trial, our fears are to be stilled, for He is a sovereign God and is forever our place of refuge.

Truth to Wonder Ministries was born in a time of crisis when the Covid-19 pandemic first hit the western world, causing churches across the land to close their doors in the enforced hope that this would stem the tide of the virus. Feeling a great burden to bring some spiritual encouragement and enrichment to our brothers and sisters in Christ, along with possibly reaching those who are yet strangers in knowing the Lord, I set about creating a new newsletter with this task in mind. 

What started out in the Spring of 2020 as a short newsletter has grown through the grace and provision of the Lord of hosts, to become a magazine that covers Bible study, church history, scientific evidence of creation, apologetics, socio-political topics of faith, scriptural resource recommendations and the much more.

Thanks to the Lord’s provision, Truth to Wonder Ministries has opened as a weekly church gathering in Bournemouth. We welcome all who desire to join us in our desire to know and serve the Lord Jesus. 

This ministry exists as a testament to the wonderful providential care of The Lord. Through a lifetime of questions, doubts and disappointments, He has graciously led me to a point where I am just beginning to see the majesty of His eternal plan for my life. Through the blessed words of Psalm 46:10, my heart was stilled, my restlessness eased so that I could at long last see that He has loved Me with an everlasting love (Jeremiah 31:3). In this wonder of heart, I seek to serve my King, my Lord and Redeemer, and I pray that you too will come to know Him as your Lord and Saviour.

As a ministry, we hold to the deity of Jesus Christ, Our Lord and Saviour who created all Creation according to His Sovereign will, who “thought it not robbery to be equal with God”, (Philippians 2:6) being the only begotten Son of God, took on flesh through the virgin birth, leading a sinless life so that He might offer it as a perfect sacrifice unto the Father for the sins of man. In this perfect sacrifice, Christ Jesus fulfilled all the law, perfecting what Adam failed in at the Garden of Eden, thus making His sacrifice a one time, perfect offering.

We hold to the Scriptural teaching that salvation is by faith alone in the Risen Lord Jesus, and that by His grace alone (Ephesians 2:8) we are counted righteous by God, having had Christ‘s own righteousness imputed to us. 

We stand with the Scriptural teaching that a repentant heart is reborn and fully justified on conversion according to the will of the Father, by the grace of Christ through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. When reborn as a believer in Christ Jesus, we are bought with a great price that is the blood of Christ Jesus and therefore we belong to Him. 

As willing servants of Christ, joyful in His authoring and finishing of our faith (Hebrews 12:2), we are to strive each day to serve Our King with all our heart, soul and strength, all the while being in assured peace that Christ, having begun a good work in us will perfect it (Philippians 1:6).   

We hold to a young earth, created by God, as recorded in the Book of Genesis and that scientific evidence corroborates the Biblical account. 

We believe that at a time known unto God alone, He will come for His own, raising the dead in Christ and meeting those who remain alive in the air in the twinkling of an eye (1 Corinthians 15:52) before returning in all power to judge the world and establish His millennial kingdom. Then when all enemies have at last been made His footstool (Luke 20:43), He will create a new heavens and new earth existing in perfection forever.

We hold that the A.V/KJV Bible is the inerrant Word of God, given to us through the preserving will of God so that we might know Him in His wondrous glory. We stand that the scholarship of the A.V/KJV translators remains unmatched and the supremacy of the text rendered through their faithful work withstands any textual criticism. Indeed, we find it a most joyful and happy work to show doubtful souls how the supremacy of the A.V/KJV Bible, brings a singular clarity to the faith of all believers in Christ; a clarity and conviction of faith other bible versions have tragically eroded and diluted.
